HOARE LEA FIRE TEAM ARE ACTIVE IN PASSIVE FIRE PROTECTION

Manchester, UK –

A big thankyou to members of the Hoare Lea Fire Team who we met at their central Manchester offices earlier this month to present our CIBSE approved CPD seminar on Fire Rated Ductwork.

There was already a lot of Passive Fire Protection knowledge in the room, leading to much positive input. However, with such a specialist discipline, there was still a lot to explain and de-mystify. Everyone agreed the value in greater awareness of specifying, installing and certifying these vital fire life-safety systems.

This is the third Hoare Lea UK office to have recently benefited from learning a lot more about FRD. It certainly aids communication and collaboration when an organisation is “on the same page”. It was a great turnout from 15 dedicated fire team staff. Thanks to HL Senior Fire Engineer, Tom Buckley for helping set this one up.

Firesafe’s Commercial Director and CIBSE approved presenter, Mark Harrison, lead the way with the technical seminar. Meanwhile, Sales & Marketing Manager, Mark Elliott was on-hand to run through the myriad of resources and support which Firesafe can offer consultants. The post-CPD feedback suggests that there is plenty of scope to work even closer in the future.
