FIRESAFE in the running for 2 BIBA trophies

Haslingden, UK – We’ve just heard that we are a finalist for the 2019 BIBAs. Not just in one but two categories, including ‘Exporter of the Year‘.

The ‘Be Inspired Business Awards’ – to give them their full name – are Lancashire’s biggest and longest running awards programme and are administered by North & Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce. The 3-stage ‘knock-out’ selection process is about as comprehensive as it gets. There’s an initial 2000 word online submission and, if selected, you’re ‘up in front of’ a formal judging panel of local business leaders. Do well in that and it’s on to the final round, an office / factory visit by the judging team.

Our business model, past and recent successes – not forgetting the Queen’s Award for Enterprise : International Trade 2019 – means that we are safely through to this last stage in both categories.

Winners will be announced at a black-tie gala event at the world-famous Blackpool Tower Ballroom in September.
We’d love to go that one (quick)step further…but, for now, we are just celebrating being double-finalists.
